Computer Keyboard and Mouse

The keyboard is standard with a numeric pad to the right.

The keyboard can look a little over powering.
First, ignore all the keys with a white line through them. You won't use them.
The Space Bar is the long key in the lower center.
There are Shift keys on either side to capitalize letters.
The Return or Enter key starts a new line.
There are two ways to enter numbers. You can use the row of keys above the letters or the numeric key pad to the right. Both function the same way, so use the option you are most comfortable with.
Use the Back Space to remove something to the left of the cursor. Use the Del(Delete) to remove somethingtothe right of the cursor.

The Mouse can be pressed on both the left and right sides. Use the left side to: position the cursor; highlight an item in a list; or to press a button. The right side is not needed for the program.

The mouse is turned on and off on the bottom. If the slide switch shows green the mouse is On. If it shows red it is off. A pen tip or other small object is helpful in sliding the switch. Turn the mouse on and off with the computer. The mouse uses a AA battery.

To type in a field it must have "focus". In other words, the computer needs to know where you want to type. Look for the blinking vertical line called the cursor. That is where the computer expects you to type. Use the mouse pointer to left click over where you want to type to give it focus.

If you want to select an item in a list move the pointer over it and left click.
